How amazing is this sun?! I cannot believe that the summer is already almost over, the past two months have flown by.

Last week we decided to have a little adventure and take advantage of the weather. After our morning meeting at the office, we took the dogs and went to White Rock Beach for some fish and chips and a walk along East Beach.

If you don’t already know this about us, we are dog obsessed. Ashley’s dog Bentley is a toy-poodle maltase, he is almost 3. Kim and I have 2 dogs, Phoebe and Finn. We rescued Phoebe just over a year ago, we think she is about a year and a half old and she is a Chiweenie aka. Chihuahua Dachshund. Finn is a full Dachshund, we rescued him from a home in California about 6 months ago. We are unsure of his age, but the vet thinks he is around 6 years old.

If you go to White Rock for fish and chips, chances are you are going to Moby Dick’s, don’t forget extra tartar sauce 😉 Since we had the pups, we got our lunch to-go and had a nice picnic. After lunch, we walked down the strip to the dog-friendly portion of the beach, known as East Beach. The dogs were hilarious. Bentley and Finn were very unsure about the water however, Phoebe was in her absolute element, she was leaping in the water like a gazelle, having the time of her life.

It was a great way to have an extended lunch and relax before heading back to the office for the rest of the afternoon!
